A Poem For My Wife’s First Mother’s Day

Proverbs 31:28–29: "Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: 'Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.'"

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms out there!

This time, it is extra special for me as it’s my wife’s first-ever Mother’s Day and I thought I’d write her a poem to appreciate her for all that she does.

Momma, you are the best, 💯

When we slip up, you take care of the rest. 🧹

Whenever Marcos eats, sleeps, or poops, 💩

You are always there in a swoop.

Motherhood is really a selfless act, ❤️

I guess that’s why some people think it’s wack. 🙈

Most people don’t know, but it’s not an easy thing,

Having to choose between eating, showering, or sleeping. 😫

You pull all-nighters taking care of our baby,

Yet have more energy than me, making me look shady. 😬

You are our Super Momma, it’s true! 🦸🏻‍♀️

Happy Mother’s Day to you! 😘

Te Amo,

Joe and Marcos
